Bradford pear, cork oak, nail vessel with lid

$255.00

This is a unique piece of Bradford Pear wood that I harvested from Fresno, California. The Bradford Pear tree's wood is naturally orange in color. It has a beautiful lustre when polished with friction polish. The lid is made from a huge, local cork oak tree. Cork oak bark is used to make corks! I used leather cord to stitch the natural fissures in the pear wood. This is a stately piece whose presence is sure to start conversations amongst your friends!
