This piece was made from a pistachio tree I harvested from a local orchard that was being pulled out. The tree was easily over 50 years old. It had lived a great life and I gave it a new one in this lidded vessel! The golden and rouge colored epoxy resin add to its elegance. The finial is local eucalyptus burl set on a base of walnut wood. This is one to talk about!
